    I’m not sure I agree with the assertion that insanely good promos are the right way to go for the comics. It is a good point that its a nice way to bridge the gap between comic fans and magic fans, but I’m not sure creative wants comic sales to be based on the quality of the promo rather than interest in the story.

    How many people do you think saw that the promo was OH SNAP STANDSTILL, got the comic, took out the promo, and threw the comic away without even looking at it? I would wager ‘a lot’, and I really doubt that’s what the writers of the comic intended.
